PARIS, March 24 (RHC) -- An Airbus A320 of the German low-cost airline Germanwings crashed on Tuesday in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in southern France, local media reported citing a local police source.
The aircraft was flying from Barcelona, Spain to Dusseldorf, Germany, when the crash occurred around 1100 local time (1000 GMT). About 142 passengers and 6 crew members were on board, added BFMTV.
French President Francois Hollande said he feared there would be no survivors.
