Washington, October 13 (RHC)-- A man and a 24-year-old woman have been killed and two others have been injured in two separate shootings in the United States. The first shooting took place outside a Manhattan, New York nightclub on Monday, when an unknown gunman opened fire on three women, killing one and injuring the other two.
Walikque Faussett, 24, was wounded in the back. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Her friend, Lauren Renee Rondat, 25, was shot in the foot and hip. She was reported to be in stable condition. The third woman, Deborah Raji, 30, was shot in the shoulder and was expected to recover.
Meanwhile, another man was killed in a separate shooting in Santa Ana, California on Monday. According to Santa Ana Police Department, the shooting took place in the afternoon. At the scene, police found a man with a gunshot wound to his torso. He later died in a hospital.
Police said they had found fresh gang graffiti at the scene of the shooting that is believed to have connection with the murder. Authorities are conducting an investigation, but they have not identified the victim yet.
