Port-Au-Prince, November 13 (teleSUR-RHC)-- The country is going through its second day of anti-government protests, after the opposition rejected the presidential and legislative election results announced a week ago. 

Thousands of opposition supporters marched on Thursday through the streets of Port-au-Prince, shortly after electoral authorities announced the final results of October 25th elections.  According to police sources quoted by EFE, one supporter of Moise Jean Charles died in a violent confrontation.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the (Provisional Elections Council, CEP) stated that some 300 complaints over electoral fraud had been processed.

However on the same day, CEP human rights representative Jacceus Joseph finally confessed on radio Kiskeya that the “fundamental reason” he refused to sign the preliminary results of the presidential elections was “doubt.”

Jovenel Moise, the governing party's candidate, is set to face Jude Celestin in the December 27th runoff elections.

Moise got 32.81 percent of the vote in the first round on October 25, followed by Celestin with 25.27 percent.
