Caracas, January 20 (RHC)-- In Venezuela, university students have staged demonstrations in higher education centers across the country to express their support for social gains under the Bolivarian Revolution.
The action also openly rejects plots by right-wing sectors in the country's Parliament, which seek to promote the anti-government stance of the University Student Federation.
Telémaco Figueroa, Coordinator of the country's Federation of University Workers, said the trade union will defend the Education Law promulgated by the Bolivarian government, which recognizes the right of university students, professors and workers to chose their leaders.
