Paris, August 2 (RHC)-- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France issued a press release in which it welcomes an agreement signed between the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Cuba and the French Development Agency (AFD) to finance projects on the island.
The press release notes that the accord will facilitate the financing of initiatives in priority sectors such as renewable energy, water and sanitation, sustainable tourism, urban development, food and agriculture, and transport.
The document, signed over the weekend in Havana, provides for the opening of an office of the French Development Agency in the Cuban capital before the end of this year.
