Havana, January 16 (RHC)-- Cuba has issued a resolution to allow loans for the purchase of kitchen appliances.
Under the new resolution, credits will be granted to applicants to buy items such as electric pressure cookers, rice cookers and induction ovens.
Applications can be submitted to any bank branches in the country and personal income will be evaluated.
Bank loans have become available to individuals since December 2011 as part of Cuban leader Raul Castro's program to modernize the country's socialist economy.
