Havana, April 24 (RHC) – The Colombian embassy in Cuba has opened a book of condolences on the occasion of the death of Nobel Literature Prize winner Gabriel Garcia Marquez, a notable intellectual and a great friend of the Cuban people.
Granma newspaper reported on Wednesday that, according to a press release issued by the diplomatic mission, the book will be open to the public until Friday, April 25th.
All those wishing to pay tribute to the man who embodied the cultural richness of the Great Caribbean, of Colombian and Spanish American literature and of the unity of Latin America and the Caribbean, will be able to do so at the embassy, located on 14th Street, between 5th and 7th avenues, in Havana's Miramar neighborhood.
