Paris, January 25 (RHC)-- Cubans and Latin Americans living in France mobilized in Paris on Sunday to denounce the U.S. hostile measures against Cuba, such as the intensification of the blockade and the accusation of sponsoring terrorism.

At the event organized by French unions and associations in the Jacques Rueff Square, in front of the Eiffel Tower, the Coordinator of Cuban Residents condemned the hostility towards the island and stated that Washington lacks the morals to give lessons to Cuba.

On behalf of the coordinator, Haydeline Díaz rejected the economic, commercial and financial blockade, which she considered the longest in history.

Likewise, she repudiated Donald Trump's administration's decision to include Cuba in its list of countries sponsoring terrorism.

According to Diaz, Trump intended to hinder an eventual return of his successor, Joe Biden, to the bilateral rapprochement path that characterized the last two years of Barack Obama's administration..

For her part, Maigualida Rivas, representative of the ALBA-TCP France Collective, an organization that brings together Latin Americans from various countries, expressed solidarity with the island and recalled the aggressions against the Cuban Revolution are not new.

Washington's aim has always been to destroy the Revolution and its will to build a socialist society that is an example of international solidarity, she warned.
