Cuba reports 910 new cases of COVID-19, three deaths

Havana, January 30 (RHC)—The National Director of Epidemiology, Dr. Francisco Duran Garcia, informed on Saturday the diagnosis of 910 new cases of Covid-19 and three deaths over the last 24 hours.

In a morning briefing on national television, he said that as of midnight, there were 11 684 people admitted with Sars-Cov-2-related events, and 5100 were positive cases, the highest figure for a day since the beginning of the epidemic.

The island's molecular biology laboratories' network processed  16 529 samples to detect the disease, the highest number.

Havana province continued reporting the highest number of cases with 415, followed by Guantanamo with 130 and Santiago de Cuba with 90.
