Havana, June 17 (RHC) -– The Council of Chambers of Commerce in Spain will hold a forum on business and investment opportunities in Cuba on June 26th, the entrepreneurial organization announced on Tuesday.
The forum will offer first-hand information on the new policies adopted in Cuba to promote investment and the opportunities opened at the Special Development Zone at the Mariel Harbor, west of Havana.
The event’s agenda also includes details on specific sectors such as tourism, renewable energy, mines and the industrial field.
Cuban Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Lleana Nunez and Cuba's ambassador to Spain Eugenio Martinez will be at hand during the forum, as well as the director of foreign investment at the island’s Foreign Trade Ministry Deborah Rivas and the deputy director of the Mariel Special Development Zone, Yanet Vazquez.
