Havana, December 6 (RHC) - Cuba today maintains control over Covid-19, President Miguel Díaz-Canel said on Twitter.
The President stressed that this follows the reopening of ports and airports that began on November 15 in the Caribbean island.
After a year, on Sunday, the country reported less than 100 daily cases: 88 to be exact, said the President.
"Almost a month after the opening of the borders, the epidemic is under control. Our vaccines continue to be the best protection, and already 83 percent of the Cuban population has its three doses," he stressed.
