Ottawa, October 31 (RHC)-- Participants in the 15th National Meeting of Cuban Residents in Canada condemned the economic, commercial, and financial blockade that the United States has maintained for more than 60 years against the island, according to diplomatic sources.
According to information from the General Consulate of the Caribbean nation in Montreal, the meeting was held virtually and was attended by members of associations of Cubans living in major cities such as Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto.
In addition to ratifying the commitment to the Revolution of the Caribbean country, the participants shared experiences about the work undertaken by the Antillean community in the northern nation and reviewed the main achievements attained.
Cubans living in Canada are actively joining the demands to put an end to Washington's blockade, and another proof of that is the caravan that is being held today in Vancouver to condemn that punitive policy. (Source: PL)
