The First Latin American and Caribbean Youth Brigade of Solidarity with Cuba ended its visit to the central province of Villa Clara

Havana, Nov 9 (RHC) On Wednesday, the First Latin American and Caribbean Youth Brigade of Solidarity with Cuba ended its visit to the central province of Villa Clara with volunteer work in the Household Utensils Manufacturing Industry.

The group made up of young people from Chile, Bolivia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Honduras and Venezuela carried out sanitation work in the external areas of this industry, inaugurated in 1961 by Commander Ernesto Che Guevara when he was Minister of Industries in Cuba.

Julieta Herrera, from the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, told Prensa Latina that the performance of Cuban workers is very positive since they face with stoicism the cruel U.S. blockade against the nation.

The Puerto Rican Ana Maris Jimenez considered very accepted the phrase that Cuba and Puerto Rico are the two wings of a bird, and pointed out that both countries are suffocated by the same empire, which calls for a united struggle.

Bolivian lawyer Vladimir Ochoa stressed that since he arrived in Cuba, he has perceived a high level of socialist social conscience that makes it possible to unify fraternal friendship ties under real relations.

The delegation of Latin American and Caribbean youths visited the Ernesto Che Guevara Memorial, the monument to the 1958 derailment of the armored train of Fulgencio Batista's dictatorship by the troops of the Argentine-Cuban commander during the battle of Santa Clara and the El Mejunje cultural center.
