Havana, Nov 11 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez and his Guatemalan counterpart, Mario Búcaro, expressed Friday their willingness to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
In his Twitter account, the Cuban foreign minister highlighted the meeting in which they discussed the importance of promoting economic, trade, and cooperation ties in areas of mutual interest for their nations.
The day before, the Guatemalan representative met with the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and the president of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, on the occasion of the VI International Cooperation Conference of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), which was held in Havana.
Búcaro, chairman of the ACS Council of Ministers, thanked the island's organizational efforts to ensure the holding of the event and confirmed the commitment of the participants in favor of boosting cooperation in the Greater Caribbean area. (Source: ACN)
