Delegation from Cuba's Ministry of Higher Education arrived in Belarus
Havana, Nov 18 (RHC) A delegation from Cuba's Ministry of Higher Education (MES) began a visit to Belarus to discuss the possibility of collaboration between universities, and scientists in the area of teaching.
Santiago Pérez, Cuba's ambassador in Minsk, the capital of that Eastern European country, informed Prensa Latina news agency on Friday. The diplomat added that the representation of the Ministry of Higher Education is headed by its deputy, Miriam Alpízar.

The official will hold meetings with her counterparts from education and the Academy of Sciences and will be received by Igor Karpenko, president of the National Electoral Commission of Belarus and member of the board of directors of the Association of Friendship with Cuba.
Alpizar will develop a program that includes a tour of the Technological Park of Minsk and the Scientific and Technological Park of the Belarusian Polytechnic University.
She also plans to visit the Linguistic University to foster links in the area of Spanish and Russian (Source: ACN).
