Army General Raúl Castro Ruz casts his vote in municipal elections in Cuba
Havana, November 27 (RHC)-- Army General Raúl Castro Ruz exercised his right to vote this Sunday in the municipal elections of the People's Power in Cuba.
The leader of the Revolution went to polling station number two of Constituency 60, in the municipality of Playa, Havana.
Upon arriving at the polling station, he greeted people and spoke briefly with them.
According to a report by Cuban Television, Raul advanced towards the ballot box, which was guarded by two female pioneers, as is customary in Cuban electoral processes. There he deposited his ballot.
As of 11:00 a.m. this Sunday morning, three million 214,663 voters had exercised their right to vote in the elections for delegates to the municipal assemblies of the People's Power, a figure that represents 38.43 percent of the total reported voter roll.
