As usual, the exchange was carried out through videoconference with the participation of the member of the Political Bureau and Prime Minister of the Republic, Manuel Marrero Cruz.

The Head of State, who reviews each one of the statistics concerning the damages of the housing fund in detail, summarized that both Mayabeque, Havana, and the Special Municipality of Isla de la Juventud, exceed 50% of the damages solved, while the pace is slower in Artemisa and Pinar del Río, the territories where the rains and winds of the meteor were more intense.

In Pinar del Río the main challenge is the reconstruction of 93,929 houses affected by the weather event, a figure that has decreased since the damage verification process, said the First Secretary of the Party in Vueltabajo, Yamilé Ramos Cordero. As of this Wednesday, 11,017 families have already solved the construction problems of their houses, while a total of 22,082 families have bought the materials.

Concerning other issues, she pointed out that all the clients of the residential sector already have electricity service, while 63 establishments still do not have energy, for which there is a plan in which brigades of the Unión Eléctrica are working. As for the water supply, 158 of the 176 water sources in the territory are working, 19 pipes continue distributing the vital liquid, and the investments planned for this sector are being carried out, among them, she highlighted the 8 wells enabled in ecologic gardens.
