Paris, March 4 (RHC)-- The ALBA-TCP France collective demanded Saturday that the U.S. government end the cynicism of including Cuba on its one-sided list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
We demand the immediate removal of Cuba from that spurious list, it stressed in a communiqué in view of the decision announced this week by Washington to keep the island on its mechanism, a measure that the organization denounced for its consequences.
The accusation against a country of sponsoring terrorism, according to the United States, implies a financial siege, which in the case of the Antillean nation intensifies the already existing blockade imposed by its northern neighbor.
This measure shows the cynicism and arrogance of the U.S. governments towards countries that do not align themselves with their interests, said the collective made up of Latin Americans and French people in solidarity with nations of the South.
It added that this happens in particular with the nations committed to the integration instrument of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People's Trade Agreement (ALBA-People's Trade Agreement).
Likewise, he affirmed that Cuba acts guided by revolutionary ethics, which leads it to condemn terrorism anywhere in the world.
Quite the opposite of the United States, which has sponsored terrorism and has welcomed into its bosom individuals responsible for it, through attacks, assassinations, kidnappings of people and goods, wars and other crimes, he warned.
According to ALBA-TCP France, Washington accuses a country like Cuba, which has been a victim of terrorism orchestrated from its territory.
The island is recognized in the world for its humanitarian support and solidarity in the face of natural disasters and health situations in various parts of the planet, it pointed out.
