Cuban Vice Prime Minister at the UN event on water
Havana, March 22 (RHC) The Vice Prime Minister of Cuba, Inés María Chapman, exchanged this Wednesday with world leaders, in the context of the celebration of the United Nations Conference on Water 2023 held in New York.
The permanent ambassador of Cuba to the UN, Pedro Luis Pedroso, reported on Twitter that the vice prime minister, at the head of the Cuban delegation participating in the event, spoke with António Guterres, Secretary General of the United Nations.
Chapman also met with the president of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Luis Arce, and congratulated for his intervention at the conference.
The conference is considered a unique opportunity to accelerate progress in the promise made by world leaders to offer citizens of the planet universal access to sanitation and drinking water by the year 2030. (Source: ACN)
