Havana, Apr 7 (RHC) The collapse of a partition wall in the chimney area of the 'Antonio Guiteras' Thermoelectric Power Plant in Matanzas left four workers injured, according to local news .
Two people were rescued alive and taken to the Provincial Hospital 'Faustino Pérez', in the capital city. Two other workers remain trapped after the fall of the seven-meter-high wall.

The workers, who belonged to the Ministry of Construction's Specialized Company for Chimney Repair and Maintenance and work at heights, were in the area known as the ashtray, where they were extracting soot and doing other cleaning work.
The Emergency Medical Service, the Fire Brigade, and the provincial authorities headed by the first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in Matanzas, Susely Morfa González, and Governor Mario Sabines Lorenzo attended the scene (Source: Cubadebate).
