Díaz-Canel tours agricultural and livestock areas in central Cuba

Santa Clara, November 24 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, in his capacity as deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power, Parliament, began here today a tour of agricultural and livestock farms in this city, in the center of the country.

The Cuban president visited, among other productive areas, the farm of farmer Yunier Hernández and that of Yulexis la Rosa, once an outstanding catcher of the Cuban baseball teams and the orange team of the Cuban province of Villa Clara.

Díaz-Canel also plans to meet with workers of state-owned micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) of Copextel (a Cuban company belonging to the Electronics, Automation and Communications Industry Group).

He will also visit new production plants such as the plastic recycling plant and a queen bee center, among others.

The Cuban president will be accompanied by other deputies, like him, from the municipality of Santa Clara and authorities of the Government and the Communist Party of Cuba of this central Cuban province. (Source:PL)
