Havana, December 15 (RHC)-- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on Thursday rejected the continued interference of the U.S. government in the internal affairs of Honduras and in the sovereign decisions of its institutions.

"We demand respect for Honduras and its government," the foreign minister stressed in his account on the social network X.

The U.S. State Department announced on Tuesday, December 12th, the restriction of visas for a group of Honduran politicians and congressmen   The United States tried to justify its decision by saying that the measures imposed on certain individuals were due to their attempts to "undermine democracy and allow the irregular and unprecedented appointment of an interim attorney general and deputy attorney general."

The two interim prosecutors, appointed by the Permanent Commission of the Honduran National Congress, are Johel Zelaya and Mario Morazán   (Source: Prensa Latina).
