As part of the tour, the Russian representatives visited the Animation Studios of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industries

Havana, Apr 6 (RHC) Representatives of Russian cultural institutions visiting Havana toured the Animation Studios of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industries (ICAIC) as part of the exchange between both nations.

The activity carried out the day before is part of the context of celebrations for the 65th anniversary of ICAIC and greets the Russian Film Festival in Havana, which will run until this Sunday.

The visitors were received by the director of the Studios, Esther Hirzel, and the deputy director of production, Armando Alba, who took them through some production areas such as the 3D animated series Ciberdanz.

They also went to the artist Pol Chaviano's workshop, where the delegation expressed great interest in stop motion works such as My Workshop and 3D works such as “Ciberdanz” being able to participate in future festivals organized in Russia.

According to ICAIC, this visit was of great interest to strengthen the ties and future projects between both nations. (Source: PL)
