Cuba reaffirms its commitment to zero tolerance against drug trafficking
Havana, Aug. 17 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla reiterated through the social network X that the island's government has zero tolerance for the trafficking and use of illegal drugs.
Rodríguez Parrilla assured that the Cuban authorities consider the fight against this social phenomenon a priority.
Cuba will continue to fight this scourge with a comprehensive approach based on the principle of zero tolerance, the Foreign Minister stressed in a message also published on the Foreign Ministry's Facebook account.
Likewise, the text cites information from the United Nations, according to which "292 million people on the planet will use illegal drugs, an increase of 20% in ten years". (Source: PL)
