Havana, November 13 (RHC)-- The Cuban medical brigade in Liberia has advanced training as they are now entering what is known as red zone or high-risk, after taking preparation in green or low risk-areas, Doctor Ronald Hernandez Torres reported from Liberia.

Using his Facebook page as a bridge of communication to let Cubans on the island know details about the work of the Cuban brigade in the African nation, Doctor Hernandez explained that the first thing they did was to attend the shift of the duty-guard service in the presence of all the Liberian personnel and those from other African countries and Europe. The training included the use of Personal Protection Equipment and a tour of the hospitalization zone.

The doctor noted that the best way to fight this and other kinds of problems is by joining shoulder to shoulder towards a common objective.

The brigade counts on the advise by World Health Organization experts who have long experience and operates under permanent watch by Cuban epidemiologists. "We taking care of all of us to save lives," Doctor Hernandez stressed.
