London, March 26 (RHC-IrishPost) – A London-Irish man will cycle 350km through Cuba in a bid to raise money for cancer charity Teens Unite.
The activist, Michael Breenwill, will take on the challenge between October 17-25 on the Caribbean island.
The 30 year old will take a break from his role as Treasury Accountant for Crown Worldwide as he mounts his bike and encounters the country’s heat and humidity for the epic journey, reads a report by the Irish Post.
Joined by 14 fellow fund raisers, he will aim to raise awareness of the charity’s work and help improve the lives of 13-24 year olds battling cancer and other life limiting illnesses, the report adds.
The cycle challenge begins in Cuba’s capital, Havana, and will take the riders along the coast, past tobacco and sugar cane fields and through farming communities.
