Havana, June 5 (RHC)-- Delegates to the 13th Latin American Congress of University Extension stressed the need to unite and seek solutions to common problems in the region.
In the Final Declaration of the meeting which concluded yesterday, participants also expressed support for lifting the financial, economic and commercial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba more than 50 years ago.
On the final day of sessions, pro-tempore president of the Association of Councils of Rectors of Universities of Latin America and the Caribbean, Telemaco Talavera, gave a lecture on the integration of universities and extension processes.
