Havana, February 25 (RHC)-- Government representatives from Cuba and the European Union will meet in Havana March 3rd and 4th for the 7th round of negotiations towards a bilateral Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement.
A press release issued by the EU diplomatic mission in Cuba said that during the upcoming meeting, the sides will address the political and institutional issues of the Agreement.
The EU delegation to the Havana talks will be headed by Christian Leffler, Deputy Secretary-General for Economic and Global Issues at European External Action Service, while Cuba's Deputy Foreign Minister Abelardo Moreno will lead the island's delegation.
The EU formally expedited the process towards normalizing relations with the Caribbean state in mid-2014. Six rounds of bilateral talks have been held alternatively in Havana and Brussels.
