Cubans take seriously the denunciation by local television of a frustrated plan to commit violent actions in the national territory, based on an infiltration.

According to the media, an individual arrived in a boat to the northern coast of the Caribbean archipelago, which gave rise to an investigation still in progress.

According to indications, before being arrested, the infiltrator tried to recruit other people to help him commit acts of vandalism.

The high dangerousness of the plotters' intentions is reaffirmed by the fact that Cuban authorities seized pistols, magazines and ammunition from them, as shown in the television report.

The first indications are that the plot was linked to at least two groups, the self-styled Nueva Nación Cubana and the Nueva Nación Cubana en Armas (New Cuban Nation in Arms), which have been identified here as terrorist entities.

Thus, as far as the investigations go, they reveal the existence of plans promoted from U.S. territory involving U.S. residents, with the aim of sowing destruction and death in the largest of the Antilles.

The announcement of the frustrated infiltration attempt followed the recent publication in Cuba of a list of terrorists.

According to what was explained in the Official Gazette, these are people who have been subjected to criminal investigations and are wanted for being involved in the promotion, planning, organization and financing of acts against the security of the State.

The list published in the largest of the Antilles includes, among others, an individual who presents himself as an influencer, but according to the arguments presented here, he acts as a recruiter and financer of tasks aimed at destabilizing the country.

Analysts stressed that the publication of the list in this capital highlights the double standards of the United States, whose administration continues to include Cuba in an inventory of countries that, according to it, sponsor terrorism.

However, the observers added, it allows individuals with violent records residing in the United States to train militarily as part of their plans to subvert order in the largest of the Antilles.

The Cuban government reaffirms that it does not support terrorism and that it is in the United States that people who have participated in or promote new violent acts in the Caribbean nation are harbored.
