Port of Spain, August 21 (RHC)--The 14th edition of the Caribbean Arts Festival 2019 (Carifesta), in its sixth day of activity, brings together in Trinidad and Tobago the most genuine of regional culture in all artistic manifestations.
Under the slogan Tangible and Intangible: Connect, Share, Invest, Caribbean creators and intellectuals offer the best of their talent in film festivals, literature, plastic arts, music, dance, gastronomy, symposiums and master classes.
Another of the most popular events are the Caribean Country Nights, where each of the participating countries showcases its cultural heritage.
Carifesta also represents a call of conscience for the protection and care of mother earth with the so-called green wellness spaces, yoga sessions and other activities.
As part of of the program for this Tuesday there was a panel on Caribbean cultural heritage as part of the Journey Round Myself Symposium dedicated to dialogue on the implementation of a Caribbean archaeological policy.
An interactive master class was also held by the internationally recognized National Dance and Theatre Company of Jamaica Style, which fuses folkloric traditions with modern dance.
