Havana, May 12 (RHC)—The latest album of Cuban singer Ivette Cepeda and her group Reflexión entitled ‘10 Años, El Concierto,’ was released Tuesday under the Unicornio label of Producciones Abdala.

In DVD format, in includes footage of the concerts given by the artist and her group on November 10th and 11th, 2018, at Havana’s Karl Marx theatre.

The concerts celebrated 25 years of artistic life of Ivette Cepeda, and ten years of the renowned singer working with the group Reflexión, led by José Luis Beltrán.

With artistic direction by Yeandro Tamayo, the new album features collaboration also of Cuba’s Artistic Representation Agency Musicalia and the National Center for Popular Music.

This is not the first time that Ivette Cepeda and Yeandro Tamayo work together. Tamayo has directed several music videos for tunes from the singer’s vast repertoire like ‘Cosas del Corazón,’ and ‘Sin Remedio,’ together with popular duo Buena Fe.

The memorable concerts at Karl Marx theatre were directed by José Luis Beltrán and maestro Rafael Guedes, while Ivette herself selected the songs by renowned authors like Pablo Milanés, Silvio Rodríguez, Juan Formell, Marta Valdés, Vicente Feliú, Donato Poveda, Amaury Pérez and Tony Pinelli, among others.

The DVD also features collaborations of musicians with Cuba’s National Symphony Orchestra, Camerata del Son, guitarists Lino Lores and Adolfo Florián, trumpet player Julito Padrón, percussionist Edgar Martínez and clarinet player Idisan Aldana.

The latest album by Ivette Cepeda and Reflexión ‘10 años, El Concierto. Ivette Cepeda y Reflexión,’ won two nominations to this year’s Cubadisco Awards in the categories of Best Song and Live Concert.

The album is now available on digital platforms, as well as on the YouTube channel of Producciones Abdala.
