Havana, May 30 (RHC)-- With a huge cultural show featuring a refined production of excellent Cuban music and childen's theater performances, the "3rd International
Encounter of Songs for Children / Corazon Feliz" ended over the weekend in the Cuban capital.
Produced and directed by Cuban singer and songwriter Rochy Ameneiro, the nearly one-week long gathering brought together artists and activists from across the island, with participants from Argentina and other countries around the world. They took part in workshops on the importance of cultural workers designing programs geared toward young people.
Among the participants were: Tia Rosa Campos from Cienfuegos; Grupo Pim Pau from Argentina; Teatro de las Estaciones from Matanzas; "Clownpuerta" show of the group "Teatro tuyo" from Las Tunas; Rodrigo Garcia y el grupo "Ceda el Paso" from Havana y Yaili Orozco with the show "La Mercelada" from Santa Clara.
On his official Twitter account, Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba wrote: "We enjoyed an excellent show at @TNCubaOfficial on the occasion of the 3rd Encuentro Internacional de la Canción para Niños y Niñas Corazón Feliz. Congratulations to artists and organizers for contributing to the creation and promotion of music for our children."
