Lionel Messi overcomes COVID-19 and returns to Paris
Paris, January 6 (RHC/PL)-- Star footballer Lionel Messi tested negative for Covid-19 after being diagnosed with the disease in Argentina and has already returned to Paris, PSG announced.
According to a statement from the red-and-blue club, the attacker was on vacation in his country, where he had been diagnosed with Covid-19, and will join the squad in the coming days.
However, the Ligue 1 leaders did not specify if Messi will be available for Sunday's away game against Olympique Lyon, the match that will close the 20th matchday of the tournament.
PSG will be without Brazil's Neymar, who is more than two weeks away from returning from injury, so the capital side can count only on Kylian Mbappé of their top-notch attacking trident.
