Cuba's Dayan Viciedo
Tokyo, July 26 (PL) - Cuba's Dayan Viciedo hit a home run and a single in two visits to the plate as a Central League player in the first of three duels as part of the 2022 All-Star Series.
The game ended with a 3-2 score in favor of the Pacific League and Viciedo played as first base defender, in a game in which his compatriot Yurisbel Gracial, who played in the winning team, went blank after two at-bats and Cuban pitcher Livan Moinelo also pitched a scoreless inning.
The second game of the three-game 2022 All-Star Series will take place on Wednesday at Botchan Stadium in Matsumaya, in the Shikoku region.
