Havana, January 12 (JIT) - Chilean Deputy Foreign Minister Ximena Fuentes exchanged views here in Havana with Inder vice-president Ariel Sainz.
The meeting took place at the Havana Sports City Coliseum in a fraternal and collaborative atmosphere.
Both executives highlighted the significance of sports for their countries and agreed on the importance of Santiago de Chile hosting the Pan American Games at the end of this year.
In this sense, crucial issues were discussed, such as visa procedures, the size of the Antillean delegation and their arrival routes and airlines to the southern country.
The Chilean side was also interested in the Physical Education system in the Island, as well as the competitive structure at school ages.
They also discussed the possibility of signing a new collaboration agreement between the ministries of both countries, with emphasis on the fight against doping, scientific activity and the training of professionals.
