Havana, October 20 (RHC) -- The opening ceremony of the XIX Pan American Games 'Santiago 2023' will be held this Friday in Santiago de Chile, with a show that will feature Chilean artists who will offer their culture and talent, along with the outstanding Colombian singer Sebastián Yatra.
The official opening of this continental multisport event will begin at 8:30 p.m. local time (7:30 p.m. Cuban time) at the National Stadium of the Chilean capital.
The opening ceremony will be in charge of the Balich and Lotus companies, and has been carefully prepared during the last few months.
Claudia Catai, Balich's Ceremonies Director, said that her company, specialized in this type of events, is very honored to be in Santiago to perform the opening and closing ceremonies, not only for the Pan American Games, but also for the Parapan American Games.
As it usually happens in each of the Opening Ceremonies of the Pan American Games, outstanding national artists from the host country and renowned figures from abroad will grace the night.
Along with Yatra, local talents such as Anita Tijoux, Movimiento Original, Los Jaivas, Los Tres and Los Bunkers, among others, will perform on the main stage.
