Armand Duplantis

Chorzow, Poland, Aug 25 (PL) Swedish pole vaulter Armand Duplantis proved today that he has no limits and set another world record of 6.26 meters at the twelfth stop of the Diamond League held in this city.

Competing against himself, as he has been doing for some years now, the two-time Olympic champion and four-time gold medalist in world tournaments did it again, this time in the Silesia Stadium.

Six times he has broken the best mark in the world in this event where his rivals compete only with the hope of occupying one of the other two remaining places on the awards podium.

On this occasion, American Sam Kendricks came second and Greek Emmanouil Karalis third, both with a record of six meters.

Norway's Jakob Ingebrigtsen also set a world record on this day, stopping the clocks in 7:17.55 minutes in the 3,000-meter race.
