Havana, October 17 (RHC)-- Cuba participated in the 1st Indonesia - Latin America and Caribbean Business Forum (INA-LAC), held October 14 and 15 in Tangerang, Indonesia.

The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that the Caribbean island was represented at the forum by the company Labiofam Asia S.A. and the Cuban Embassy in that Asian country.

About 200 representatives of Indonesian companies and Latin American and Caribbean nations attended the event.

Indonesian deputy foreign affairs minister Abdurrachman M. Fachir opened the Forum, during which the Cuban delegation held intense exchanges with Indonesian companies from different sectors interested in identifying business opportunities on the Caribbean island.
