United Nations, June 1 (RHC-Xinhua) -- UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Wednesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Afghanistan's capital Kabul which killed at least 80 people and injured over 350 others.
"The Secretary-General expressed his abhorrence at this act and underlined the need to reinforce the fight against terrorism and violent extremism," UN Spokesman Stephane Dujarric told a daily briefing.
"Indiscriminate attacks against civilians are grave violations of human rights and international humanitarian law and can never be justified," said Dujarric. "Those responsible for today's attack must be brought to justice."
