New York, September 18 (RHC)-- Scores of world leaders are arriving in New York City to speak at this year’s United Nations General Assembly this week.
U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak to the General Assembly on Tuesday. His speech comes amid rising tensions between the U.S. and North Korea. On Sunday, Trump called North Korean leader Kim Jong-un "Rocket Man" in a tweet, as the White House continues to threaten military responses to North Korea’s recent missile tests.
Donald Trump is also planning to have a dinner with the presidents of Peru, Colombia and Brazil at Trump Tower Monday night to discuss Venezuela. The Trump administration has threatened to intervene militarily in Venezuela and directly supports regime change to overthrow President Nicolás Maduro.
