Quito, March 11 (RHC) -- Ecuadoran President Rafael Correa on Monday reshuffled his cabinet in a bid to energize the government's structure.
Paola Carvajal replaced Maria de los Angeles Duarte as minister of transport and public works, according to an executive decree.
Vinicio Alvarado returned to the post of secretary of public administration, replacing Cristian Castillo.
Lt. Col. Rommy Vallejo becomes the new national secretary of intelligence and Omar Simon the new secretary general of the presidency.
