Brasilia, October 15 (RHC)-- The Sao Paulo Forum held an International Tribute Event to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the historic triumph of President Salvador Allende and the Popular Unity (UP) in Chile (September 4, 1970).

The solemn meeting, virtual and international, was organized by the Executive Secretariat of the Sao Paulo Forum (FSP) in conjunction with Chilean members of the organization.

Leaders and founders of the Sao Paulo Forum took part, along with the special participation  presidents, heads of State and Government, former presidents and social and political leaders from Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
