Hanoi, February 4 (RHC)-- Vietnam has experienced economic growth over the past 30 years and is expecting a per capita income as high as Europe by the year 2045, with a significant reduction of poverty from 75 percent to only 5 percent of its population.
The digital newspaper of the Communist Party of Vietnam (VCP) held a webinar on February 3rd in Hanoi under the theme "The 13th National Party Congress and relevant achievements" to celebrate the success of the great event and the 91st anniversary of the founding of this political party.
The meeting focused on the initial assessment of the outstanding results of the XIII National Congress of the VCP, as well as the national public opinion and that of international friends on this great event of the country. At the same time, it also analyzed the important milestones of the Party during the 91 years of development.
Delegates expressed their satisfaction and confidence in the documents approved at the meeting to define the strategic vision, the aspirations for national development in the 2021-2025 period and the goals for 2030, with a vision until 2045.
Also, the participants contributed several ideas and proposals for the study and implementation of the Party Resolution. The Ho Chi Minh Union of Communist Youth launched a program of 1,500 activities in salute to the 91st anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the success of its 13th National Congress.
The actions, which are being carried out in the country's 63 provinces and cities, include media campaigns to disseminate the results of the 13th Congress and the deployment of activities in favor of building the Party's ranks, rural renewal, entrepreneurship and social welfare, among others.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Permanent Secretary of the Union of Communist Youth, Bui Quang Huy, said: "Through this program, we wish to optimize the pioneering and innovative spirit of young people, as well as create a good effect on society and organize more meaningful activities despite the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic."
