Quito, February 26 (RHC)-- The presidential candidate of the Union for Hope Alliance (UNES), Andres Arauz, during a meeting held with the Consortium of Provincial Autonomous Governments of Ecuador (Congope), said Thursday that his government will propose new economic policies in rural areas.
Arauz stressed that his proposal for the rural future "is equivalent to a comprehensive policy to revive the economy through works in territories, connectivity for these areas, development of technical institutes to train professionals to work in the countryside."
The Ecuadorian politician added that on his political agenda, "the role of internet will be strengthened, universal rural connectivity is fundamental. We have detected 368 rural parishes without internet access and this must be solved in the short term," said Arauz.
"I come from a world of development planning, if you want to find a partner in the development of Ecuador raised responsibly and technically, from the perspectives of the territories, you will find in me that person, a partner in the development of production, with technically raised policies, dedicated to solving the needs of the country," said the presidential candidate.
Andres Arauz also stated that the Central Bank must "guarantee liquidity to the decentralized autonomous governments and be able to trigger a rapid economic recovery."
