Mexican foreign minister to meet with Chile's president-elect

Mexico City, January 6 (RHC)-- Mexico's Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Marcelo Ebrard, announced Wednesday that he will meet in Santiago de Chile with the Chilean president-elect, Gabriel Boric.

"Later, I will be in Buenos Aires (Argentina) at the Meeting of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States," informed the Mexican Foreign Minister.  Ebrard will lead the 22nd Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac), in the Argentinean capital tomorrow, Friday.

The head of Mexican diplomacy will hold an interview in the Chilean capital with Boric, who in the presidential elections of last December 19 won more than 4.6 million votes, becoming the youngest political leader and with the highest number of approval votes in the history of the country.

Boric will assume the presidency of the South American country on March 11th.
