Head of Hamas's political bureau reaffirms in Lebanon the continuation of Palestinian resistance to Israeli crimes
Havana, April 10 (RHC) - The head of Hamas's political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, reaffirmed in Lebanon the continuation of Palestinian resistance to Israeli crimes.
Concluding a visit to Beirut, the Palestinian leader discussed political and field events, especially the attacks on the Al Aqsa Mosque, and the ongoing Israeli attack on the West Bank, Gaza and throughout the occupied territories.
During his stay, Haniyeh spoke with the Secretary General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah; as well as with the heads of Palestinian forces and factions, and a number of Palestinian and Lebanese national personalities and events.
On the occasion, the Hamas delegation reviewed the Israeli government's policy and its dangerousness for Palestine and the region, and condemned its criminal and extremist approach.
The meetings held witnessed extensive discussions on the reality of the Palestinians in the camps in Lebanon in the face of the worsening humanitarian situation and the economic crisis in the nation.
According to local television, the meetings discussed ways to achieve the broadest base of rejection of the behavior of the occupation of Tel Aviv, ways to confront it, address its policies and the successive threats it poses to the Palestinian people and the rest of the countries of the region.
At the same time, they stressed the need for cooperation within the framework of the united resistance front for the liberation of Palestine.
