Bolivian Foreign Minister visits Venezuela for work meetings
Havana, April 19 (RHC) - The Vice Minister for Latin America of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, Rander Peña Ramírez, spoke on Tuesday with the Bolivian Foreign Minister Rogelio Mayta as part of the meetings with a view to the 3rd Bolivia- Venezuela Joint Integration Commission.
According to official sources, Venezuela and Bolivia made progress on cooperation issues in the energy, commercial, cultural, educational, communicational, political, and diplomatic fields.
Peña explained he met with Mayta with the purpose of continuing to "strengthen our bilateral relations in favor of our peoples."
The head of Bolivian diplomacy also announced the welcome to the delegation of 51 Bolivian athletes who will participate in the 5th Sports Games of ALBA 2023, which will begin on April 21 with the participation of 11 countries and Russia as a guest.
Peña went to the Maiquetía air terminal, La Guaira state, accompanied by Mayta, the Bolivian ambassador Sebastián Michel, and the vice chancellor of the Andean nation, Freddy Mamani. (Source: Telesur)
