Armed clashes continue in Sudan
Khartoum, Apr 27 (RHC) In Sudan, clashes continue between the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the army with all kinds of weapons and aerial bombardments, according to local sources.
The most intense fighting is taking place near the Presidential Palace, the airport and other important institutions, with the use of heavy weapons and anti-aircraft fire.
The RSF denounced in a statement that the army attacked with aircraft and artillery its bases in the area of Kafouri during the truce announced at midnight on Monday with international mediation.
The most intense fighting is currently taking place in the regions north and west of the capital, where vital institutions are located, but also in areas of western Sudan, especially in Darfur, considered a strategic region for the paramilitaries.
The death toll has already risen to 512 people and the number of wounded exceeds four thousand, while the health system has collapsed and hundreds of thousands of people have fled the country. (Source: Prensa Latina)
