Lima, August 31 (RHC)-- Peruvians have mobilized again this Wednesday against the government of Dina Boluarte, demanding her resignation, a new Constitution, justice for the victims of repression in the protests, among other demands.

The teleSUR correspondent in Peru, Ramiro Angulo, reported that the mobilization began in the afternoon from the Dos de Mayo Square to the San Martin Square in Lima (capital).

"They are demanding the resignation of Dina Boluarte, and they are also asking for justice for those killed in recent protests.  They are condemning the police and military abuses that have been committed in the last demonstrations," he said.

For his part, analyst Walter Velásquez expressed that "we are saying no to this dictatorship" and that they want to live in a democracy.    "Here we are in one more day of struggle, many mobilizations are coming to rescue our democracy and seeking justice" for those who have died during the demonstrations, he added.

Velásquez also affirmed that there are many gaps in the country, "practically there are more than 80 percent who are poor at a national level and do not have the ability to have a job and welfare, that is why there is no presence of the State that can solve these problems.".

New protests against Boluarte are planned for October 12th.
