The aircraft took off at 12H26 local time from the airport of Ezeiza, Argentina where it had been hijacked for almost two years.

Caracas, February 12 RHC)-- The Government of Venezuela categorically rejects the outright theft of the Boeing 747-300 aircraft, with the initials YV 3531, belonging to Empresa de Transporte Aerocargos del Sur (EMTRASUR S.A.), which took place today after the collusion between the Governments of the United States and Argentina.

Both nations have artfully violated all the rules that regulate civil aeronautics, as well as the commercial, civil and political rights of the aforementioned company, putting at risk aeronautical safety in the region, the Venezuelan government denounced on Monday.

The aircraft is already in Florida, U.S.A., after a stopover in Haiti, the seizure being carried out under the pretext of the unilateral sanctions and the blockade measures against Venezuela.

At the beginning of January, Federal Judge Villena, of Lomas de Zamora, who has jurisdiction over the international airport of Ezeiza, accepted the US request and ordered the delivery of the aircraft to the North American nation.
